Goodbye Christmas

Usually by now (first week of January) I am so over the Christmas decorations. We put them up at the end of October/ beginning of November so by the time January 1 hits I want it all gone so we can have a fresh start to the new year! However....

... this time around I don't mind if some of it stays out a little longer. When all of the decorations are put away the house looks so empty. I don't know about you but we can still use some Christmas cheer so we're going to keep a couple of the trees up until the end of January. Most of the other stuff is already back in storage.

Last year we decided to rent a storage unit because the trees alone were taking up a lot of room in our garage. We have ten. It sounds excessive, I know, but have you see the movie, Christmas Vacation? Yeah, that's my husband, aka- Clark Griswold. Haha! If it were up to him he'd probably have the house decorated all year long.
